Penang League 2008

Penang League has set the hearts of floorball lover on fire burning with passion for the game. As for us. We felt the same too! I am exited about this league because young and skillful players growing up to be apart of this yearly competition. More and more leaders rising up for God. May all players use their skills wisely for His glory!

I’m also excited because it has been a while since we heard about the last Penang League.

I still remembered how deswyn and I was grasping for air desperately after making a change during the match. We looked awfully tired! And yet it feels good!

We did not disappoint out fans and we did put up a good fight in every match! We ended up lifting the trophy of Penang League and being the first champion of the League.(well, we drank 100plus from the trophy! Lol!)

The League is on now for players to make Jesus shine! Not forgetting to thank the hard work of the PFA committee members for organizing this event! Special thanks to James for taking his time to serve and Edward for his commitment for coaching the players. Not forgetting Penny for her willingness to be the secretary of the organization! (Try being one and you will know how stressful it is! It’s not easy!). If it’s not of their commitment none of us will know what is floorball and we will miss the chance having fellowship with people from different churches!

Enough of story telling, its time to go to the main point!

On Tuesday (26/2) Innebandy will be playing against Frontliners Spartans. 

Followed by playing against Minden Unihawks (4/3) which is also on Tuesday night. 

The third match against Contact Fireants on (11/3) Tuesday night which to me is the most exciting match. 

And we will meet Frontliners again on the (22/3) and 

Minden Unihawks on the (29/3). 

The last match will be against Contact Fireants on the (1/4).

 And that sets the end of the league for us!

All games will be played at Dalat International School Gynasium from 8.15-9.15pm. Supporters are all welcome to support! We need you! If you are free then drop by earlier to enjoy the division 2 games at 7 pm. Entrance is FOC so come!

Can we lift the champion trophy again? (and possibly drink 100plus using it again?)

We will find out at the end of the league!

The thrill of Floorball

Its always a fun time playing sports...
Well, maybe not to everyone =]
but i doubt it if they have tried floorball.

I've been hook into playing floorball every week
ever since i first started floorball in 2004 like 4 years ago
when it was introduce to us in Penang.

To tell u the thrill about floorball is like a roller coaster ride.
It has it ups & downs plus its heart pumping moments.

Just recently, we had a 3on3 competition...
It was fun & exciting for most of the players.
For me, i felt that its just a heart pumping moment for me
as the first whistle for the game goes of for my match.

One goal in mind was to score as many goals for my team.
But it aint all about scoring, its all bout the fun & teamwork

The most thrilling moment for me in floorball is during the last
few moments of the game where we're either trailing or having
a same score before the final minute. "Esspecially the Finals"

The intense moment in the air & by some luck or miracle our
team manage to score the wining goal... the crowd goes wild.

Thats one of my thrill moments =] another would be the penalty
shoot-out. I tell u... the feeling around you feels so intense...
As all is silence & all eyes are on the player taking the shot.

If more is to tell about floorball's thrill & excitement i think i can go
on & on... but hey~! Wont u come join us & see for urself whether
u have wat it takes to be in this fast-pace sport.

to give our innebandiens ample time to devour the delicacy of cny there's no trainin this sun (10th of feb). happy cny to all of u n to all flbal players! however if u ever feel bored during this festive season don't just sit in front of the tv and keep on eating and eating and eating. grab your stick and show your relatives some flbal skills! you can even teach your grandparents air hook =P start training on your own now cuz penang league is just around d corner! happy chinese new year once again! see you guys on court on d 17th!
