Innebandy!Camp 2011: Camp Report

So here is a report of how the camp went. =)

The camp started off around 6pm with some icebreakers.
Since we had new players joining the camp for the first time, we first introduced ourselves by name and then proceeded to our first activity of the camp, the "Drop-the-blanket-then-shout-the-opposite-person's-name" game. =P
Led by Sam, the objective of this game was to memorize each of our new teammates name.
Split into two groups, guys and girls, the game began. The girls had an obvious advantage over the guys, thanks to the majority of them having chinese names. =D
There wasn't really a winner or loser, but there was definitely great loads of laughter.

After that icebreaker, we headed down to EAT !
Thanks to Nicholes Ong for buying the food and preparing the charcoal.
Thanks to Deswyn for cooking and watching the fire.
There was lots of food. Chicken, sausages, meatballs, pizza, "hand-chopped-salad" and "homemade garlic butter bread". Okay, umm, not alot in variety but plenty in quantity. =D
Everyone ate to their full.
Next the night session. Deswyn introduced the committee and announced the team captain for Innebandy!Co 2011. He then explained the 3ICs and 7LOVs. He also encouraged us to commit them to memory. The night then continued with more games and fun. Then came supper, then lights out.

The next morning started an "Americano Breakfast", consisting of bread, jam, biscuits and cups of milo. After breakfast, it was time for some TeamBuilding. The main goal of teambuilding is to encourage teamwork, perseverance and most importantly Insane Courage.
After a strainous workout and a nice shower, it was time to listen to the "Wise One".
Uncle James/Papa Looi headed this session and gave a deeper sharing on the 3ICs.
He shared how the 3ICs not only applied to floorball, but life in general.

After sharing, lunch, then more games! *points to Kon Joe*
He's the KILLER ! =P

So there it is. A short one day camp filled with plenty of fun, laughter and memories.
To all those who missed out on this year's camp,
Look forward to the next Innebandy!Camp
