Defeated but not Crushed

The race for the title has ended for Inne. But it is not the end of floorball!

First period began with a shocked as nobody would ever expect such an early goal from the Fireants. Goals by goals we conceded due to defensive error. Despite being stung by the ants inne never gave up. A one-two passes by Sam and Deswyn made to the net of the opponent. Bringing back to kl his 3rd goal for the season . Inne would like to thank him for taking his time for playing for us. It is such an honour to have you in every match you played with us. Appreciate you for korekin your piggy bank for the trip back here. The first period ended 1-4. We needed a breakthrough! Nic without giving himself some rest started to encourage the team and make some changes in our strategy.

The second period was much better compared to the first one. Inne had more possession of the ball throughout the whole period. But due to the lack of movements from the players we failed to fully seize the opportunity. If only more shots were taken the score would be different...."if only". However the least expected moment happened again. This time is our turn! Dickson with his smart run managed to find an opening right in front of the goal which allow him to take a gentle drag-flip shot passed the goalie. He blew his flying kisses to the supporters and the girls catched them all. Last goal by inne was scored by Sam assisted by...um...who ar?? The horrors were yet to end. Inne yet continue conceding silly goals. To the extend that we scored into our own goal. Too hungry for goals i guess. And the score line ended with us losing 3-8 to the Fireants.

Congratz upon winning the title! The memories of winning and lifting the trophy are still fresh in my mind though. To the Ants, i could feel how sweet this victory is to them as this is the first time they clinch the title. I could barely recall mine. As i said defeated but not crushed. The ball is round. It could go either side. Its just not our luck this time. We will train hard and put up a good fight again in the next league.

A great discovery of mine throughout this league~!!! I was amazed by the way how inne players carried themselves
. You guys have matured so much more compared to the last league or tournaments. Am certainly proud of you all! It wasn't easy to swallow the defeated feelings but you guys played with styles and lose with dignity! This certainly worth more than the gold medals and trophy to me. Keep on pressing guys~! I believe in our team!

The difference between try and triumph is just a little umph!

p/s: everyone are required to go for the closing ceremony this saturday 7.30pm. wear your jersey(full attire=shorts+shoe). lets go there to cheer for the last match!(if Unihawk managed to pull through a win or draw the silver is ours! there is still hope)
